We are looking for a passionate JavaScript Developer to join our team in Stuart, Florida. You will join our growing team as we begin the development of an online platform that will host our cinematic film series used by over 1 million people and 30,000 churches worldwide.  Our films, which focus on transforming lives, are distributed on DVD, but our goal is to move to online streaming.

The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, proficient at transforming concepts into a digital solutions that delight customers. The developer we are looking for is meticulously detail-oriented, and able to quickly come up to speed on new technologies.

You'll be working on developing and improving our streaming platform that distributes life-changing content to millions of people in tens of thousands of churches throughout the world.

Required Skills:

Realistically, we need someone with strong development experience and familiarity of third party integrations. Your previous work will demonstrate how great of a developer you truly are.

• Excellent programming skills in JavaScript
• Strong experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs & OpenAPI Specifications
• An understanding of Micro-services architecture and service discovery
• The ability to Implement new features and optimize existing ones from draft to implementation
• Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from, product management, UI designers, customers, and other engineers
• Familiar with continuous integration processes and automated testing
• Understanding of event driven decoupled components and OO programming
• Eager to learn new technology stacks or frameworks as needed
• Exposure to Node.JS preferred
• Leadership of a software development team preferred
• Experience with Data Modeling and SQL/NoSQL Databases (Mongo, PostgresQL) preferred
