Front End Engineer

We’re looking for a Front End Engineer who can make an immediate impact building complex UIs that empower organizations to make intelligent decisions. You will work in the heart of downtown Denver within a small, agile team of developers and a Product Designer to deliver new features and improvements to our product. We are looking for experienced and passionate developers who want to make a difference while working in a startup environment that prioritizes our team and user community over unsustainable growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop new user-facing features
• Deliver bug-free code within our weekly development sprints
• Write front-end tests to ensure confidence in your code
• Build clean, reusable components with React.js
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Refactor application code for performance and scalability
• Implement styles using CSS
• Collaborate with our team to ensure the best product for our users

About You:

• 2 - 5 years of experience as a Front-End Developer
• Demonstrated mastery of building complex features with React
• Demonstrated experience integrating with APIs
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (especially Cypress)
• Advanced knowledge of React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of Git, Gitflow and command line tools
• Proficient understanding of principals of front-end testing (unit, integration)
• Comfortable writing own APIs in Node.js and querying databases
