JavaScript Developer

You don’t code. You build awesomeness. Being a tech-geek not only by profession but at heart, you breathe all things engineering, innovation and data.  You’re a computer scientist and team player and your mother tongue is pseudo code.  For you, architecture has nothing to do with buildings and abstraction isn’t found in art museums. You strive to simplify the complexity in life, and before Bill Gates, you would want to shake hands with Walter Bright or Douglas Crockford or Grace Hopper. You know that the answer is 42.

What you will be doing:

• Develop and maintain high-end JavaScript web applications
• Keep an eye on maintainability, performance, simplicity and consistency
• Mentor and learn from other people in your team
• Contribute to our automated tests
• Evaluate, get involved in architectural decision
• What experience and skills we are looking for:
• Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience
• Very good problem-solving skills and creativity
• Experience in delivering quality solutions with high accuracy
• Intermediate knowledge of ECMAScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with Javascript SPAs, OOP, and REST API
• Comfortable with Javascript frameworks and libraries
• Nice to have (one or more of the following) unit testing (Jest), ReactJS, state     management libraries (e.g. Redux or Mobx), experience in the advertising industry, relevant experience with complex software, software design (UML). Feel free to introduce your own expertise even if it’s not listed here.
• Fluent in written and spoken English
