Your Responsibilities:- Develop new user-facing features for our Web application
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Design and build user-friendly interfaces with sophisticated interaction patterns
- Connect to backend services interfacing with the data preparation engine
- Optimize components for maximum performance across browsers and devices
- Collaborate closely with product development and R&D teams
- Work with user experience and design professionals
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant technical expertise
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/ES6 or Typescript, including DOM manipulation and the Javascript object model
- Practical expertise with popular React workflows such as Flux or Redux
- Experience and flair for visual design, UX and interface design for complex interaction patterns
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorisation mechanisms such as JSON Web Token
- Knowledge of Scala and functional programming paradigms
- Know-how of modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Motivation and passion for intuitive and optimised user interfaces
- Ability to write expressive, high-quality, reusable code
