Meet the team

You will join the product development team lead by Darko Zeli?. As a progressive organisation, we invest a lot of time in improving our processes in addition to "just" working on the product and the infrastructure. As such, we've moved beyond the traditional rigid team structure and are working in flexible and scalable "circles" which encourage personal growth and give individuals more recognition for their achievements. Together, we decide where our architecture is going, and which technical developments will be integrated into our daily work. Your role:

As a Senior Front-end Engineer, you will be involved in implementing interfaces for a vibrant and highly scalable microservice ecosystem, while constantly modernizing the architecture. You make sure that the code quality is high and consistent across the team. Your passion for technology makes you a true master in not only React/Redux but also in JavaScript/ECMAScript in general. As part of the product development team you love to address complex architectural problems with simple and intuitive design, while being able to communicate technical ideas and direction across the organisation. You will work on new projects such as Orchestration Engine or Cloud Data Connector and you will be involved in improving the battle-tested parts of the Relay42’s Data Management Platform

Your responsibilities:

• Design and develop systems which are reliable and scalable
• Ensure a high code quality and consistency
• Address complex architectural problems with simple and intuitive design
• Work closely with full-stack developers and UX Designers

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience working in a professional product driven environment. The candidate is a true expert in JavaScript but has also good knowledge of React/Redux and ECMAScripts standards and front-end tooling. The candidate is passionate about high code quality and might be a bit opiniated about React/Redux but doesn’t freak out when seeing AngularJS. The candidate also knows when it makes sense to avoid frameworks altogether and is good aware of best practices in API design even though the focus is front-end. The candidate is an absolute champion in using unit and integration tests, is not afraid of the browser-automation testing world and takes CI/CD pipelines seriously.
