We are traders, speculators and investors and we hate the fact that when it comes to sports we can’t do any of these things! If you can speculate on almost anything imaginable from stocks to startups to cryptocurrencies is it really too much to ask to speculate on sports and athletes? We don’t think so and are on a mission to prove it! SportStack believes that for many millions of people it is sports not stocks where their true interests lie - that’s why we are building a platform for people to start speculating, trading and investing in them! Founded by a team of former Goldman Sachs traders and sports betting technologists we are now looking to grow the SportStack team.
Who we need
We need people that are fuelled by their ambition and dream of something bigger. People that are sick of just being ‘employee no. X’ and are desperate for a meaningful position at the core of a company moving crazy fast toward a meaningful vision. Specifically, we are looking for a React Developer to build out our mobile product from scratch working closely with our CTO (Trajan), front-end developers and design team.
What you will be doing
You will be implementing a React Native mobile application of our next-generation sports exchange platform. You will be responsible for designing the mobile app's architecture and developing integrations with SportStack's back-end microservices (built with Java and the Spring Boot framework). As a React Native developer you will implement pixel-perfect designs and innovative UX features, including interactive data charts and sleek animations. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee seamless and intuitive experience for our users.
Required Skills
Minimum 1 year of React Native experience
Minimum 2 years of JavaScript (ES6) experience
Redux experience
Experience with RESTful APIs
A desire to learn and apply best practices in software development
Bachelors' degree
Desired Skills
Front-end web experience
Experience building native mobile apps (Swift, Java, etc.)
Back-end experience (ideally Java)
Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience working in Agile environment (Scrum)
