And so Medici-Living/QUARTERS is looking for a Senior Java Developer who wants to help us to realize our vision.

Your team

We’re a small and rather international team in our HQ in Berlin. We’re all good at what we do, and we enjoy working together. We don´t believe in strict and repressive hierarchies and work practices. From day one your work will have impact and you´ll never feel like a little cog in a machine. Just a lot of interesting and challenging work to get done. Our developers are sparring partners, they bounce ideas of each other and always help one another to find the best possible solution.

What You’ll Do:

You´ll develop new user-facing features for our QUARTERS app, to give our members the best possible experience during their stay at QUARTERS.

At the same time we have to make sure our applications are optimized for maximum speed and scalability. With our recent investments, we are going to grow a lot in the next years and our tech has to grow with us.

Ideas for new features can come from many different directions , may it be members, clients or from other departments of the company. So you´ll be working closely with all different kinds of stakeholders to enable modern application development and implementation. Our developers are sparring partners, You'll help others around you grow as developers and be successful

Skills & Requirements

• Proficiency with JavaScript. You will be need to be able to hand code a website from scratch using JavaScript or CSS
• You’ll also find having a working knowledge with Reactjs and popular Reactjs workflows (such as Flux or Redux) will be helpful
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, etc
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a fast paced team, that is always is always eager to push each other adn learn from another
• Be highly proactive and creative in your solutions and passionate about tech and coding
• Candidates should be passionate about learning new technologies, have?great interpersonal skills and enjoy operating in a fast paced team setting.

Our Recruitment Process

Our interview process consists of several stages, each one allowing us get to know you better, professionally and technically. It is also an opportunity for you to gain a better understanding of our culture and the work we do here at pebble.

The stages include:

• CV review
• phone interview
• Face to Face interview in our Office In Berlin Kreuzberg with our Tech Lead
• "trial day" that includes you working with our team on a real feature/problem, so you can get a better feel for the way our team works and the other way around. You´ll be joining them for lunch as well so you can get to know each other on a more personal level. This last stage will take around 6h
