Front-end Developer

Lomotif is social video startup that is kicking ass on the international stage as a Top 10 Photo and Video app in the United States. We're one of the fastest-growing apps with 2 million new downloads every month. With our recent Series A funding, we’re expanding quickly to meet the demands of our accelerating growth and are looking for a Front-end (JS) Developer to help us redefine what it means to be successful.

As a Front-end (JS) Developer at Lomotif, a typical day in your life includes:

• Developing top-tier front-end solutions for our users to consume all the multimedia content they desire

• Collaborating with the back-end team to develop internal web-based tools (get friendly!)

What You’re Good At:

• Expertly knowing your way around modern js frameworks like angular, react, redux, vue

• Using various dev tools and deployment process (css pre-processors, build tools, task runners, etc)

• Understanding and experience with the interaction of web services, REST APIs, async processes and JSON

• Fundamental understanding of UX and appreciation for good design

• 2-3 years of industry experience

• Self-driven, good team player with initiative to pick up and share new technologies

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Extra Cool If You

• Possess the knowledge of video space and technologies (i/b/p frames, h264, rtmp, ffmpeg)

• Have fiddled around with design tools like sketch, figma

• Have startup/entrepreneurial experience
