Front-End Engineer

As a Front-end web engineer on the Xnor team, you will be responsible for building growth marketing tools and web presence from the ground up. You’ll be working on a variety of projects centered around growing our customer base including building our website, web portals and apps that demonstrate our machine vision capabilities, and even innovative technology that allows us to programmatically find, target and reach new customers. Xnor's front end stack uses Gatsby JS, Netlify and Contentful, so you'll be working with leading edge technology. Our ideal team member is fearless when it comes to trying new things, and is willing to iterate on ideas. We value team members who can quickly prototype, iterating all the way to high-quality implementations.


  • Build, scale and maintain or customer facing website (core site, landing page, blog, resources) and digital acquisition tools (web portals, customer growth platforms, etc.)
  • Integrate with restful APIs to ensure our ability to seamlessly integrate third party and home grown tools
  • Set engineering standards for our front-end to create a customer growth platform which is scalable and maintainable as our team grows

Minimum Qualifications

  • Expertise with full-stack web development
  • Experience with web application frameworks such as React, Angular, etc
  • Experience with responsive design, unobtrusive JavaScript, and minification
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • High engineering standards -- experience with code reviews and thoroughly testing code
  • Experience with a version control system -- we use Git

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python or Java
  • Experience with CMS systems
  • Experience with SEO and website analytics
  • Experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or similar cloud services
  • A public portfolio or samples of your work that can be shared with us
