LevelUp is looking for an React Developer who is self-directed and passionate about innovation and web technologies.
You'll be a part of a small, elite team developing consumer facing web applications for our multimillion dollar partners that will run on millions of devices and handle billions of transactions. Ideally, you'll lead development of an application from concept to launch, and be interested in helping us grow and foster a talented, well-balanced team.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to open source softwareBuild and maintain large-scale, high-availability web applications with an active and growing user baseDevelop new user-facing features for our growing Web SDKConstruct reusable components and front-end libraries for future useManage stages of the continuous development and release processTranslate designs and wireframes into high quality codeOptimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsersMentor experience for other engineers in a professional setting
About you:
Professional experience (2+ years) in front-end web development, including command of a modern framework - React required.Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.Exposure to other programming languages that compiles into JavaScript - TypeScript preferred.Familiar with Agile software development methodologiesDistributed version control experience with GitFamiliarity with RESTful APIsExperience with responsive designAbility to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsA knack for benchmarking and optimizationTeam player with excellent written and spoken English communication skills
