Frontend Developer

Karify is a web-based application on the forefront of e-mental healthcare, supporting both small psychology practices and the largest mental healthcare providers with a research based online behavioural change platform. We are market leader in the Netherlands and currently expanding our operations abroad.

We are looking for a Frontend developer with affinity for responsive front ends and mobile apps. We are in the process of transforming to an API driven application, building ReactJS and React Native on our current platform and we need *you* to get there.

The role:

• You'll be building user-facing features working with ReactJS or React Native, and supporting technologies like Redux, Webpack, [...], Storybook

• You will have full lifecycle responsibility to create robust, scalable systems that operate always

• You act as the bridge between our users and our backend team and you'll communicate what needs to be built effectively

• You understand the difference between software engineering and programming, and appreciate that engineering is done by collaborating with other people

• You can translate innovations in the frontend domain to our product

You have:

• 3+ years experience building frontend for large scale web applications. SaaS experience helpful

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills and a notion of code quality
  

• Experience with React in a professional environment

• Experience working on Native iOS and/or Android projects is a plus

• Experience with working in teams, TDD and CI/CD is also a big plus

Technical skills:

• You should be in LOVE with Javascript (borderline unhealthy relationships permitted) and understand why React was quite the revolution

• Experience with HTML5 and CSS3, LESS, Twig and #{frontend.technology} are useful

• You know and value unit tests and behavioural tests, and like debugging
