Senior Front End Engineer (TypeScript, React)

Do you want to work on a completely greenfield project, building a new start-up that could potentially disrupt the way we travel?  BCG Digital Ventures (part of Boston Consulting Group) invents, invests in and incubates start-ups in partnerships with corporate companies. We are incubating a start-up over the next few months and will be looking for experienced engineers to join us, working on the design and development of the new product under the direction of the Venture CTO.

What will you be doing? 

• Collaborating with engineers and designers to build a product that delivers an empowering user experience
• Developing a product at pace, with TypeScript, React, HTML, React Native and more 
• Implementing highly scalable and maintainable front-end services, working with designers and business specialists to ensure optimal solutions
• Sharing technical solutions through design reviews, pair programming and code reviews

What are we looking for? 

• Sustained experience in professional software development, with experience of ES6, React, and ideally TypeScript
• An appreciation for design, a focus on building elegant applications 
• Strong analytical and debugging skills 
• Experience of deployment in Cloud environments
