We are looking for a creative software consultant to join a multi-disciplinary globally distributed team to collaborate on providing technical support and maintenance for our client's existing product, an Employee engagement platform. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure the smooth operation of the product and address any issues reported by users. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and maintenance for our existing product built on Java, React, and AWS.
- Investigate and resolve issues reported by users, ensuring a prompt and effective resolution.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand the product architecture, codebase, and business logic.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in Java, React, and AWS, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
- Analyze and interpret log files, error messages, and other system outputs to identify the root cause of issues.
- Develop and implement bug fixes and patches to address identified issues.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure the proper deployment and configuration of the product in AWS environments.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to reproduce and verify reported issues.
- Communicate with users and stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner, providing timely updates on issue resolution progress.
- Document troubleshooting steps, issue resolutions, and other relevant information for future reference.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a developer, preferably in a support or maintenance role, with expertise in Java, React, and AWS.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Proficient in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring).
- Solid experience in React and front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
