Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in mobile application development with a strong focus on React Native
  • Proficient in TypeScript, GraphQL, Expo, and EAS
  • Ability to eject from Expo and work with React Native CLI when necessary
  • Experience with testing on both Android and iOS platforms
  • Proven track record of working on production applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement definition through to deployment

Job Description: React Native Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled React Native Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in mobile application development to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of modern mobile application development technologies and concepts, with a focus on the React Native ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high quality mobile applications using React Native
  • Leverage TypeScript to ensure type-safe code and improved developer experience
  • Utilize GraphQL for efficient and effective data fetching and mutations
  • Work with Expo and EAS for smooth development, building, and deployment processes
  • Eject from Expo and work with React Native CLI when necessary
  • Execute thorough manual testing on both Android and iOS platforms to ensure application stability and usability
  • Collaborate with the team to define requirements, design features, and continuously improve our client's applications
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

Coding Exercise:

As part of the interview process, you will be asked to complete a React Native coding exercise. This exercise will involve working with a provided Github repository and implementing certain features and enhancements. Detailed requirements for the coding exercise can be found here.
