Senior Frontend Engineer

Superside is looking for Frontend Engineers at all levels to help us build a product that strongly impacts the creative industry.

We’re building Superspace, a DesignOps system, that allows our globally distributed team members and customers to work together remotely. We enable seamless creative collaboration and project management thanks to features like briefing, staffing, design feedback and asset delivery. You’ll be a part of a forward-thinking team that values ownership, initiative and growth.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll get to collaborate with people across different departments, building technology and processes that will directly impact the product and the business.

What you'll be doing

    • Build, test, and ship features like chat, staffing, project management, design collaboration, integrations, workflow editor, and more
    • Be part of important product discussions, and discuss with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers
    • Create and contribute to technical specs and testing/rollout plans
    • Mentor and support teammates to help them grow
    • Be part of important technical difficult discussions (we're not looking for people to only execute but really participate in solving an issue with innovative thinking)

What you'll need to succeed

    • Experience with modern web development
    • Working knowledge of React and Typescript
    • Ability to be a hard-working team player and focused individual contributor
    • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
    • Experience with Unit or E2E testing
    • Proficient English communication skills (both verbal and written)

Our biggest challenge right now

    • We’re looking to reinforce our Design System and Subscription teams as we’re growing the platform. That means taking responsibility for the creation and evolution of a robust design system or working within a very cross-functional team to develop a complicated subscription system that requires data visualization and a lot of discussion/exploration.This calls for hard-working team players and focused individual contributors who speak up their minds and enjoy actively engaging with team members.
