What You'll Do
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, with a predominant focus on Frontend development, you'll be a technical leader, guiding the design, development, and optimization of our user-facing systems. You will stress on browser performance, UX engineering, and build tools, with a commitment to creating an exceptional user experience.
You should have a deep understanding of, and passion for, product design and user interaction patterns. Your challenge will not only be writing scalable and maintainable code, but also ensuring our product is intuitive, accessible, and provides a seamless user experience that our customers love.
Responsibilities
Design, build, maintain, and improve software across the stack, with a predominant focus on frontend development.
Create user-facing features that are scalable, accessible, and intuitive.
Translate product design and wireframes into high-quality code, bridging the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.
Engage with teams using this core infrastructure to ensure it meets their needs and expectations.
Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack, including participating in an on-call pager rotation.
Plan for the growth of Coperniq’s infrastructure, anticipating future scale and complexity.
Analyze existing software for performance optimizations and quality assurance testing.
Act as a mentor for other engineers in the organization, fostering a culture of continuous learning and mutual growth.
Manage projects end-to-end, including measuring project impact, success, and creating a reliability and maintenance plan for the future.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
At least 7+ years of relevant work experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a significant emphasis on frontend development.
Proven experience in UX engineering, performance optimization, and frontend build tools.
Demonstrated experience of leading initiatives across multiple teams, influencing tech roadmap planning, and execution using deep domain expertise.
Proven ability to effectively collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
Experience mentoring and investing in the development of engineers and peers.
Proficiency with our tech stack: AWS, React, GraphQL, Typescript, Node, MikroORM, PostgreSQL, Gitlab for CI/CD, Docker & Kubernetes.
Strong HTML/CSS fundamentals for both rapid prototyping & pixel-perfect styling.
Experience in setting up continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for client-side (server-side is a plus).
Demonstrated ability to design, write, and test high-quality code.
Proven experience in maintaining and designing complex databases.
Track record in scaling and optimizing both front-end and back-end applications.
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Compensation
$120- $150k salary

Compensation Range: $140K - $170K
