Job Overview:
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Checkbook, you'll be the lead guitarist of our development band, strumming your magic with React and Angular. You'll be the one to make our fintech applications shine like stars, and ensure they deliver an exceptional user experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop applications that deliver exceptional experiences for our users
  • Create seamless integrations with our backend systems to ensure efficient data flow
  • Optimize performance and responsiveness of our applications to deliver lightning-fast experiences
  • Develop and implement automation tools and strategies to ensure the quality and stability of our web applications
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies, industry trends, and best practices


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience working with React and/or Angular to build robust frontend applications
  • Extensive knowledge of RESTful APIs, asynchronous request handling, and computer networking
  • Familiarity with other frontend frameworks and libraries (in addition to React and Angular) such as Vue and Ember is a plus
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective frontend solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle challenges and find creative solutions

Bonus points if you have experience in the payments space
