Job Summary: We are seeking a Product Engineer (Frontend or Full Stack) to join our small but growing team. As a Product Engineer at Bind, you will lead the development and operations of digital products. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of diverse projects and create innovative solutions that enhance the brand-user relationship. You will be working with a small team which will allow you to work on various projects and take on an increasing role within the company. This is a fully remote position with occasional team meet-ups and an office located in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web-based applications that strengthen the connection between brands and their users.

  • Implement new product features and maintain existing ones all the way from a design spec all the way to a production deployment.

  • Plan projects thoroughly before implementation and document solutions afterwards.

  • Demonstrate understanding of data structures, good schema design, and computer science fundamentals.

  • Balance priorities effectively, transitioning between building optimised systems and rapid prototyping.

  • Thrive in a primarily async working environment but also participate in collaborative discussions and contribute to team success.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript/Flow, React, HTML, and CSS.

  • Extensive experience with React and building user-friendly interfaces.

  • Keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.

  • Knowledge of modern web standards and best practices.

  • Solid understanding of data structures, schema design, and computer science fundamentals.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to plan projects, deliver product outcomes, and take ownership of features.

  • Experience working remotely and the ability to independently organise your workday

  • Preferred: Experience with Next.js and familiarity with Discord/Slack APIs.
