About the Role:

As a Senior / Staff frontend engineer at Rye, you will play a crucial role in developing reference apps, demos, and reusable shopping components for our end customers, internal web apps used by our teams to interact with our systems. You will work closely with the backend engineers to ensure seamless integration with our GraphQL API. You should have a strong understanding of how APIs work, particularly GraphQL APIs, and be able to guide client schema direction for our GraphQL API. You will also be responsible for ensuring the highest quality UI/UX for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop internal web applications, reference apps, demos, and reusable components for our end customers

• Work closely with the backend engineers to ensure seamless integration with our GraphQL API

• Guide client schema direction for our GraphQL API

• Ensure the highest quality UI/UX for our customers

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience as a frontend engineer

• Strong understanding of how APIs work, particularly GraphQL APIs

• Experience with React, Remix, and Typescript

• Experience with Firestore is a bonus

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

• Strong attention to detail and passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly UI/UX
