As a Front End Software Engineer your efforts will be two fold; both supporting the current mission as well as taking the knowledge, experience, tradecraft, and analytics designed to support the mission and productize them for the entire organization. Your primary responsibility will be developing a new UI for a data set critical to the mission, and maintaining a UI for an existing system serving hundreds of users. You will also have opportunities to learn / use Kubernetes or comparable devops tools, Spring/Spring Batch, Leaflet JS, Single Page Application Development, Docker, Junit/Mockito, Python, agency data flow formats and standards, analyst toolkit applications, Git, and Streaming data frameworks (Flink, Spring Cloud Data Flow, Heron).

Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a new React UI being developed
- Support change requests to an existing UI used by hundreds of users
- Work in a full stack environment while focusing on UI
- Support the rapid development and deployment of patches and updates to an existing system
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 14 years of experience in Software Development
- Experience using React JS, NPM, Java, Microservice Architecture, and Version Control (Git, SVN)
- Interest in working on a small expert team that communicates regularly with analysts
- Willing to take on a large subset of the project as their own, from requirements gathering and design, to deployment
- Interest in taking on ambiguous tasking and working it to completion
