As a key member of our Imports team, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing the world of FP&A software. Collaborating closely with Engineering and Product teammates, as well as our Marketing and Customer Success Teams, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge software solutions. Reporting to Jaime Laub Engineering Managers, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute to the team's mission To easily, reliably, and quickly import, transform, and structure data in Cube for critical planning workflows. Together with cross-functional teams, you'll shape the future of FP&A software by delivering innovative solutions that transform financial planning and analysis. With a strong focus on excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality products, you'll drive impactful change in the industry, making a meaningful impact. Tech Stack:

  • Our front-end is written in JavaScript/TypeScript and built using React/Redux.

  • Our back-end is written in Python and built using Django.

  • Our infrastructure is hosted within AWS and follows the well-architected framework.

  • Our processes are driven by automation, experimentation, observability, and security.

HOW YOU’LL RAMP:

By Day 30:

  1. Introduction and Onboarding: As a senior engineer, immerse yourself in our team culture and values. Get an overview of Cube software and its key features for a solid foundation.

  2. Code Review and Technical Onboarding: Dive into Cube's codebase, learn our testing framework and best practices. Participate in code reviews for high code quality. Access comprehensive documentation and resources for deeper understanding.

  3. Active Participation in Agile Practices: Engage in our team's agile and Scrum practices. Collaborate closely with peers, define tasks, communicate effectively, and prioritize work for success.

By Day 60:

  1. Collaboration and Integration: Integrate seamlessly into the team as a valued collaborator. Foster open communication and respect for all input.

  2. Technical Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Embrace a resilient mindset, driving software improvements. Enhance functionality and contribute to Cube's growth.

  3. Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Become a trusted mentor, fostering learning and collaboration. Support team growth and knowledge sharing.

By Day 90:

  1. Technical Strategy: You will provide valuable feedback and ideas that align with the organization's technical strategy, shaping the team's direction.

  2. Continuous Improvement and Product Expertise: You will actively seek personal growth, driving innovation and improving Cube's software through your deep understanding of its features.

WHAT YOU’VE ACCOMPLISHED... SO FAR:

  • Demonstrated mastery in front-end development, utilizing technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Python, and AWS to create visually appealing and interactive user interfaces.

  • Consistently delivered high-quality, production-ready code that adheres to stringent quality and performance standards.

  • Effectively communicated technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, showcasing strong communication skills.

  • Fostered open communication and actively contributed to discussions, promoting a collaborative team environment.

  • Exhibited strong problem-solving skills and utilized a systematic approach to tackle complex technical challenges.

The base salary range for this role is $131,325-$177,675 USD.

We use a wide variety of market data points to come up with a thoughtful and comprehensive compensation package. Our team takes the following into consideration:

  • Your past achievements and scope of ownership/influence that you expressed in your interview process.

  • The stage of our company. We’re early in the growth of our organization, and we place a heavy earnings potential on our equity. 

  • Your current location. The fact is, it costs more for the basics in some places than others, and we adjust accordingly for that.

  • These ranges are posted for US employees only. 

  • Only base salaries are posted. For commission-based roles, please inquire with your recruiter during your first call.
