We’re looking for a thorough Frontend Developer. Is it you?

The Software Engineer - Frontend will join our growing product engineering organization and is responsible for implementing the user interface of new and existing web and mobile apps. Works with other highly skilled developers on our Product Team in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and other Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.
Build efficient and reusable front-end systems to drive complex applications.
Troubleshoot and debug front-end of web and mobile applications.
Asks questions, takes risks, and champions new ideas.
Research industry trends and propose changes to the current design as appropriate.
Participating in Code reviews.
Suggesting and implementing improvements to existing product interfaces
Creative thinking to solve problems by looking beyond current practices.
Researching, designing, implementation of software projects
Breaks down large, complex features and systems into smaller implementation slices and uses prototypes and iterations to de-risk unknowns.
Takes ownership of the products from prototype through production deployment and Operations.
Coach other team members – unblocking team members, coordinating technical dependencies, guiding technical approaches for a problem,design review,code review and providing useful and actionable feedback.
Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
Collaborative by nature with a strong desire to continuously improve teams and technology.

Knowledge, Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, and/ or related field or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of frontend JavaScript development experience creating engaging, multi-platform user experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience developing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, CSS/SCSS.
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
Knowledge of front end Design Patterns.
Experience with React Native and Typescript is a plus.
Experience with latest JavaScript standards.
Experience with popular React.js workflows (Redux)
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
Web/App development experience – NodeJS, React Native, SWIFT, Android/iOS dev knowledge preferred.
Strong object-oriented design skills, knowledge of design patterns, and an uncanny ability to design intuitive modules and class level interfaces.
Exposure working with AWS cloud and AWS managed services like AWS lambda, S3,Cloud front ,Dynamo,Kinesis stream would be preferred.
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Familiarity with code versioning tools (Git preferred)
Knowledge of Node JS / Server Side Rendering is a plus
Basic experience in Micro service architecture, web services development(Restful APIs) using Typescript/Java/Python/C#.
Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design, development, and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
Working knowledge of agile development fundamentals – preferably in SaaS or consumer websites/apps.
