About the Role
Topia is the leader in Global Talent Mobility, empowering enterprise HR teams to deploy, manage and engage employees anywhere in the world. We have a 2 month short-term opportunity for a junior Front End Application Engineer  to join our team in Estonia as part of a wider development product to make our product multi-lingual.

Responsibilities
As the junior Front End Application Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing our FE application and wrapping labels with internal translation functions to enable these to be displayed in multiple languages. Responsibilities include: 
Review the React application and identify all labels that require translation.
Wrap labels with the translation functions.
Ensure that all translations are accurate and free of errors.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that translations are implemented correctly.
Maintain a consistent tone and style throughout all translations.

About You
The ideal candidate for this position should have a keen attention to detail as they will be responsible for ensuring that all labels in the application are accurately translated.

Familiarity with using a text editor (e.g Visual studio code).
Understanding of the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Nice to have an understanding of what a SaaS company is.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

About the Engineering Team
The team currently consists of experienced developers who have been working together for years, and are a welcoming, mentoring group. We are hiring a few additional team members to expand the group further. We are fiercely proud of our product. 

We work with an agile methodology - the usual things, two week sprints, daily standups. The process works for us, rather than the other way around. We have an emphasis on skill transfer and mentoring. Our collaboration through meetings and code reviews are supportive. We talk about practices and standards, and come to a team consensus rather than being top-down in decision making with regards to architecture and style.
€1,500 - €2,000 a month

Base compensation ranges are intentionally broad to cover a variety of levels and locations. Position within the range will be determined by location, experience, and skill set. Our culture is one of open and honest communication so you can expect to have a conversation with a member of the People & Culture team about your compensation expectations early on in the recruiting process.

Employees at all levels and locations are also eligible to participate in our corporate bonus plan with an annual bonus target percentage and to receive stock options. These amounts are not included in the above listed base compensation range. 

Full and part-time employees based in the Estonia are entitled to the below benefits:

• 43 paid days off per year. This includes 28 days of Holiday Leave, 10 company paid holidays, 4 days of Volunteer Time Off, and 1 Floating Holiday to take for whatever day or celebration is personally meaningful to you.
