Job Description

TechSur is seeking a talented Frontend Developer to be a part of a team of dedicated professionals solving our customers’ most challenging problems. Good candidates will have knowledge of leading-edge web development practices and an insatiable curiosity. This inspired, self-directed individual will excel in a collaborative environment, collaborate and refine strategies, incorporate best-practices and new innovations through Angular/React, Javascript, CSS, and HTML5.

Required Skills/Work Experience

• 3-5+ years of front end development experience
• Hands-on knowledge in Javascript (jQuery), HTML5, CSS2/3
• Strong experience with React, Angular, GitHub

• Knowledge in OOP concepts/data structures
• Expert in standards-based, cross-browser, multi-form factor development and responsive design
• Expertise in writing semantic, well-formed HTML5 markup
• Expertise in crafting CSS3 that brings rich interfaces to life
• Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed

Desired Skills/Work Experience

• Demonstrated experience developing complex interactions and/or applications with JavaScript
• Strong understanding of back-end basics: web servers, cookies, databases, JSP, Java
• Strong understanding of version control systems (CVS/SVN)

• Strong understanding of CSS Preprocessors (LESS, SASS) and Frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed

Education and Training

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, physics or related discipline and an advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for three years of experience.
• Employer will accept a suitable combination of education, training or experience.
