About the Role
In this role, you’ll play a key part in front-end development across multiple products and projects. You will work closely with our talented back-end engineers and designers to create elegant and responsive user interfaces where customers can interact with complex financial data. You'll have a direct impact on customer experience, ensuring users have a seamless and enjoyable experience with our products.
As a Front-end Engineer, you will:
Collaborate with designers, back-end engineers, and product managers to build web interfaces that power our products and features
Work with complex APIs and visualizations for big data
Create complex data visualizations that allow our customers to analyze financial data in real-time
Drive engineering projects to completion with a sense of urgency
Interact with our back-end services to access data needed to power web UI’s
Build for scale, availability, and performance
Drive quality into our product through code reviews, tests, bug fixes, etc.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with:
3+ years of software development experience with an emphasis on front-end development
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and especially with React.JS
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as D3.js and Apache ECharts
Proficiency in developing and integrating complex Restful APIs
Experience building complex front-end applications with modular structure.
Strong understanding and experience working with cloud platforms, specifically AWS
Nice to haves:
Experience in some or all of the following technologies: Node.JS/C#, Python, Ant.d, and React Redux
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Experience working with payment and/or financial technology
Experience working in high growth, venture-backed startup(s)
