Full Stack Engineer

Recorded Future

With 950 employees, over $250M in sales, 1,500+ clients, and rapid year-over-year growth, Recorded Future is the world’s most advanced, and largest, intelligence company!

At the core of Recorded Future’s insights is a data model of the threat landscape, which we’ve termed The Security Intelligence Graph. Your team owns the expansion, enrichment, and leveraging of this graph to deliver critical intelligence to the security teams that rely on it. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will build the internal data management tools that your colleagues use to expand and refine the Intelligence Graph.

What you’ll do as a Full Stack Engineer:
  • Continuously improve the efficiency of your colleagues’ data workflows, by understanding their pain points, identifying improvement opportunities, and building user interfaces in React.js that improve their day-to-day work.
  • Increase the impact of other full-stack developers through regular discussions, code reviews, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Constantly raise the bar for your own work as well as that of your team, by continuing to advance your own knowledge and hard skills in the areas of full stack web development and user-centered design.
What you should bring to the Full Stack Engineer role:
  • 2+ years of full stack engineering: You are comfortable developing production-grade, full-stack applications, particularly with React.js as a front end.
  • Full stack engineering skills:
    • You’re eager to understand the pain points in others’ workflows, so that you can build solutions they’re delighted to use.
    • You’re passionate about usability and a stickler for clean, intuitive, reliable user interfaces.
    • Your code is well-organized and emphasizes maintainability and consistency.
    • You’re eager to review as well as question existing code and engineering practices in order to recommend improvements.
    • You thrive in collaborative engineering teams.
    • You’re experienced in full stack web development and well-versed in React.js and Python, including Flask.
  • You are interested in the “full picture” of the person using the tools you build. What they do before and after using this tool, and how you can make their work more productive and valuable.
