We are looking for a Software Engineering Co-op to work with our OneASICS team. You would have the opportunity to work closely with the team as a front-end engineer, interacting side by side with API engineers, designers and product managers to
explore your interests in both UX and front-end engineering, as well
as developing your skills working and interacting with back-end components.
This position will work on the development of key functionality and infrastructure
across the entire ASICS ecosystem in areas such as security, SSO, social features, analytics, and device integration. You will work in an integrated Scrum team with other full-time Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers.
Responsibilities
-Learn our?OneASICS architecture?and implement performant, reliable technical patterns within them.
-Solve problems by working with Product Managers, Quality Assurance Engineers, UX/UI Designers, and fellow Software?engineers.??
-Contribute to the development of the engineering organization by sharing ideas during team meetings and discussions.
Requirements??
-Familiar with the front-end stack (HTML, CSS, JS) and the benefits of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
-Comfortable working with JS.
-Experience working with APIs.
Bonus points
-Experience working with React.
-Experience working with state management (Redux, mobx, etc.)
-Familiarity with frontend libraries, build tools, and modern patterns/frameworks (Webpack/Grunt/Gulp, jQuery, Progressive Web Applications).??
-Interest in UX design.
-Experience working in an Agile environment.
