Front End Developer

Faro Health aims to improve lives by helping life sciences companies answer complex clinical questions, simply, efficiently and effectively. Our software platform is used to orchestrate complex clinical development with a single source of truth. It brings words, data and teams together, empowering researchers to design more intelligent trials, master complexity and reach milestones faster.

The Front End Developer is a key member of the development team who will be entrusted to invent and develop an amazing and intuitive software for clinical trial designers. At the intersection of architecture and UX design, this position will have responsibility for both creative user interface design as well as solid engineering implementation of complex cloud-based apps. This role presents an opportunity to combine advances in information architecture with strong engineering fundamentals to redefine authoring software with real-time analytical insights.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build highly interactive, single-page React apps that can scale with both increase in interaction complexity and volume.
• Create tools, libraries, and frameworks to build foundational components for rapid innovation
• Work with internal teams and external partners to improve developing and deploying applications and customizations
• Apply new technology and innovation to improve platform functionality
• Deliver an outstanding experience for our customers
• Work closely with peers on the development team to define and implement the company’s roadmap, and to help tackle the company’s biggest problems.

Qualifications

• You have significant hands-on experience in SPA engineering and SaaS architectures with around 5 years.
• You have demonstrable experience in delivering web and mobile apps that please users in the market.
• You have experience in a fast moving, growth-minded startup, and are comfortable with being flexible and adaptable as requirements change.
• You have strong skills in designing information models of user interactions.
• You have a thorough and current understanding of technologies and frameworks involved in building cloud-based, single page apps.
• You have a good balance of idealism and pragmatism

Salary

• Salary range for this position is $120,000-$180,000
• Salary listed reflects the base salary only and does not include other elements of total compensation
• Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
