Software Engineer

As our React Native Software Engineer, you will be knowledgeable about your squads codebase and architecture, and can take the lead on tackling higher-complexity stories or less-well-defined tasks. Every day you will work closely with a small team of engineers in addition to the wider engineering, product, design, QA organization. You will work crafting and delivering high-quality mobile applications and products for our customers.
To thrive in this role you must have a few years of experience delivering high-quality software with demonstrable experience using modern technologies JavaScript, Typescript, React, React Native, Node.js, AWS. You are a practitioner of an agile software process and have strong values towards good testing practices. You enjoy collaborating with other engineers for code reviews, pair programming and architecture design.
Here’s what you can expect as a React Native Software Engineer:
- Building beautiful UIs across both mobile platforms
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms and building an application that communicate with GraphQL and REST API
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
- Participate in code review and performing extensive testing to ensure high-quality software
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Driving best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm and apply a principled agile software development methodology to the organization
- Release applications on Apple App Store and Google Playstore
