Frontend React Developer

Truly

Hiya, how are you doing?  ?

I’m Jack, the founder of Truly Experiences.  We’re a UK-based company that’s been around for 9+ years.  And our Mission is to “help people create happy memories through the right experiences.”  You know, experiences like eating really yummy foods, going on relaxing holidays, etc.

So our company is currently looking for a Full-Time Frontend Developer (REMOTE)

It's a really exciting time to be joining Truly because we are in the process of building and launching our Brand New Tech Stack (codenamed Truly 3.0).  It'll be a rare opportunity to join 5 other awesome ppl within our tech team at the ground level.

Your day-to-day will involve:
- Contributing to key design decisions (through research and ego-less debate)
- Being hands-on w/ understanding user requirements (walk a mile in their shoes)
- And of course, shipping high quality, understandable, testable, reusable code ?

What we're looking for:  (see if it sounds like you)
- You really really know your way around React (ideally 2-3yrs+ experience)
- You are not just a 'coder', you see and appreciate programming in all its logic and glory
- You are incredibly curious, ask amazing questions and don't stop until you understand why something happens
- You love learning (read a lot ?) and improving yourself
- You have high attention to detail (you like to check, then double-check, sometimes triple)
- You have high bias for action and love getting things done (b/c you get an adrenalin rush, sense of accomplishment)
- You love to simplify complex code or ideas down to its true essence
- You are proactive and independent (ie, can work on your own, know when to ask for help, know when to make a judgment call, know when to fix things, know when to question instructions, know how to move things along w/out being told)
- You have no ego (and hate ppl who walk around with big egos)
- Lastly, just a happy person, happy vibes  =)

Include in your application:

1) Why are you interested in this role?

2) What's your favourite or least favourite thing about React, and Why?

3) Include your CV/Resume
