Job Description - 100% Remote

As a part of our front-end engineering team you will be responsible for developing and implementing dynamic interfaces for internal and external tools. Specifically, you will be working on a UI based platform that is the combination of an analytics platform like Datadog, financial trading platform like Coinbase pro, and CICD platforms like Circle CI. This UI is a real-time platform working on the order of milliseconds or less to manage global workloads. These interfaces are highly configurable by their users allowing them to visually organize components how the user would like. These components will require the ingestion and display of high rate streaming data. You will need a strong understanding of how the various browsers work to optimize performance. This position is 100% remote.

Duties:

• Develop a strategy for and implement user customizable UIs using React
• Turn large and complex streaming datasets into beautiful visualizations
• Improve web performance using analytics and experiments
• Take ownership of critical UIs that enable the company to grow

Requirements:

• 3+ years of production level React development
• Experience consuming large streaming data with React
• Experience with implementing complex data visualization
• A master of web browsers; how to use each at its max potential
  
• BS or higher in CS/CE/SE or relevant experience

Preferred:

• Experience building data and analytics focused web interfaces
• Experience with leveraging usage analytics platforms to improve user experience
• Experience running UI experiments like AB testing
• Likes to provide design input
• Experience with modern communication frameworks such as WebRTC and gRPC
