Undefined is a tight-knit London-based product studio. We work with startups and well-known brands across a range of different sectors. All ideas are different and we treat them that way. We love creating digital products with a purpose and we are looking for a like-minded and passionate developer to join our team and help us continue to meet our goals.

 

About the role

We are looking for a Mid to Senior React native developer with solid experience in building clean and well-coded web/mobile applications. We are a small team and so independence and confidence in your coding is key. You won't have anyone looking over your shoulder and we strongly believe in self-accountability to get the job done.

 

Your tasks will be extremely varied as you will be working on a range of products and projects for different, exciting clients throughout the year, rather than iterating on one main project over time. This is an exciting opportunity to make a big impact within an innovative, supportive and growing agency that would love to add another skilled React dev to its ranks.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Utilise your expertise in React native to develop new user-facing features

2. Remain proactive in your continual professional development and be open to learning

3. Develop flexible, varying sized websites and mobile apps (using tech like Firebase, React Native, Next) 

4. Assist with scoping and planning of projects

5. Assist other team members in developing needed features

6. Take a user-centered approach and rapidly test and iterate

7. Potential to be involved on the design side (not required)

 

What We're Looking For

1. 2+ years React Native development experience

2. Good understanding of security best practice in React Native applications

3. Experience integrating API's & Auth workflows

4. Ability to structure larger services for long term maintainability

5. Strong problem solving ability and able to articulate solutions clearly

6. A positive working attitude (and excellent at working for stretches of time without close supervision)

7. Proven track record of learning new technologies and tools on your own initiative (we want to see your side projects!)

8. Ability to understand the needs of the client, question business logic behind features and ensure our client's needs are being met
