The Role:

We are seeking a world class engineer to work deeply with our React frontend.

You will join the Helsinki web-infra team to deliver a performant large scale React application and support frontend developers in fast-growing global company. As a perfect candidate you are a battle hardened engineer, specializing in React ecosystem, and proficient in GraphQL and Typescript.

We will pair you up with similar engineers and provide you a highly energetic environment for learning and career advancement. Your mission will be to delight our frontend engineers working on product features and improve time to market for frontend changes across all teams. You will achieve this through a broad range of approaches suitable to your skills and preferences including improving architecture, performance, tooling and documentation, providing workshops, giving talks, and helping to establish best practices.

Requirements:

A minimum of 6 years hard-core experience in frontend development
Four years of frontend development with React or similar modern UI stack
Experience in streamlining and scaling huge web-applications and code-bases
Proven understanding of web-site performance
Working knowledge of NodeJS is required
Very comfortable working with Typescript
Production experience with GraphQL is useful
Self motivated and driven for results. Helping others to achieve the same
Fluent in communication, and with excellent organizational and analytical skills
Higher education degree in relevant technical discipline such as CS or Engineering considered a plus
