Senior Frontend Engineer – Powered by LendingTree (PbLT)

THE POSITION

This position will be responsible for contributing to a team of frontend engineers.

We’re looking for some high-caliber, passionate frontend developers to join a highly motivated team focused on developing and maintaining our “Powered by LendingTree” platform. Our frontend stack is diverse: Vue, React, Angular, Stencil using both JavaScript and TypeScript.  We welcome candidates with experience in one or more of these skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop complex user interfaces as driven by the needs of the business
  • Work hand-in-hand with the business to find the best ways to solve problems (one day you could be improving the performance of the customer experience, the next you might be developing functionality that drives complex analytics for the business)    
  • Leverage the latest technologies (React, Vue, Stencil, Webpack, Rollup, Typescript, LESS, SASS) to build robust web interfaces

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ yrs. of professional software engineering experience
  • 2+ yrs. of hands-on coding in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages
  • Experience with React.js and/or Vue.js
  • Experience with user interface design and browser-based debugging
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • .NET development experience a plus
  • Computer Science or closely related degree
  • Experience mentoring junior developers
  • Passion for professional self-improvement (anxious to explore new territory)
  • An expert in the programming language(s) of your choice
