Front End Engineer

About the role

Rogo is looking for engineers who can take problems into their own hands, and prototype, iterate, and ship quickly. You're going to wear many hats and you're going to grapple with all sorts of technical challenges. You'd be perfect for this role if you have full-stack experience, aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, and are comfortable taking on a lot of responsibility. What you'll do

• Create beautiful user experiences for a variety of analytic workflows, with natural language querying at the core of the user’s interactions.
• Design novel and dynamic front-end visualizations for exploring data.
• Make experiences, digestible analytic outputs, and cutting-edge work flows that will continually delight our users.
• Help design the front end experience for a full enterprise SaaS product by working directly with designers and clients.
• Build a unique, innovative user interface for working with data across econometric, statistical, and machine learning domains.

What you'll need

• 2+ years experience working across the tech stack, with a focus on the front end.
• Expert level understanding of modern front-end technologies and deployments, preferably React.
• Experience building analytic and business intelligence products or experience working in a data-driven product setting.
• Experience working with and supporting customers on a technology platform, understanding their needs, and translating those needs into features.
• Experience building within the context of large and scaling software applications; software design and peer code review skills; experience writing maintainable, testable, production-grade code.
