WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Senior Front End Engineer, you’ll be responsible for overseeing our front-end engineering practices including architecture, code, documentation, and testing.  You’ll collaborate with other software engineers, quality assurance engineers, product managers, and product designers to participate in the full software development lifecycle – from product requirements, to software design, to testing and release. 
 
Our front end uses ES6, React, and Redux. Experience with these technologies is not required but is considered a plus. 
 
Most of our code is written through pair programming, and you should expect to spend most of your time collaborating closely with other engineers on our team. 
 
In the next year, we expect to:
-        Integrate tightly with the Talend Cloud platform 
-        Scale our data processing infrastructure to handle rapid growth in customers and data volume 
-        Add powerful new features to give users even more control over their data 
-        Improve the quality of our front-end code and our overall front-end user experience
-        Develop several new features with significant front-end components
-        Level up the rest of the team’s front-end development skills
 
Ideally, you’ll bring strong opinions and practices from your past experience to lead these efforts.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

    • At least five years of front-end development experience
    • Knowledge of web applications, browsers, databases, and web APIs
    • Expertise with Javascript and its modern variants like ES6
    • Experience with React Redux
    • Strong opinions about front-end development best practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
