Position Summary:

Trulioo is seeking an experienced Mobile developer to join our Document Verification engineering team. The Document Verification team is responsible for an exciting high growth area within the business. You will collaborate closely with product managers and UX specialists to help us on our journey to become the most customer focussed and developer-friendly fintech company in the world. This is a full-time position located in our Vancouver HQ. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Mobile SDK development for our Document Verification product
• Breaking down user stories and other backlog items into appropriate tasks and driving their design and delivery
• Providing feedback and technical guidance to Product Managers and UX specialists during product discovery
• Proposing multiple solutions to problems with an understanding of tradeoffs
• Participation in all normal scrum ceremonies
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Key/Technical Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Mobile developer
• Knowledge of common mobile development languages and frameworks such as Swift, Kotlin, React Native, JavaScript, Java, etc.
• A team-oriented philosophy that brings out the best in those around them
• High technical standards demonstrated through the appropriate use of patterns and practices, clean coding, peer reviews, and unit testing
• A passion for learning and growing and sharing your knowledge with others

Bonus:

• A portfolio of released applications on the App Store or the Android Market
• Full-stack development experience with modern web application frameworks in a modern cloud application environment
• An Agile and DevOps mindset
• You put the customer first

Education and Experience:

• BSc degree in computer science, engineering or other STEM field, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience
