The Role
We’re looking for an experienced React Native developer to bring our communication platform, Sonar, to mobile. Sonar creates a competitive advantage between Circulo and our provider partners through a seamless exchange of information. This empowerment also facilitates world class care for our members!
What you'll do
- Own the development of our Sonar mobile app
- Be the primary point of contact for engineers building features in the app
- Collaborate closely with product managers, solution architects, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products in a timely manner
- Mentor other engineers to support their tasks ensuring team commitments
- Effectively communicate project status and key issues to team leads and/or leadership
- Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle – design, development, unit tests, testing, and support
What you'll need
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience with React Native
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant equivalent experience
- Be independent and a self-starter; continually seek opportunities to improve yourself, your team, and its products
- Demonstrable knowledge of multiple languages including, but not limited to TypeScript, Java, Swift
- Comfortable diving into native code in Android and iOS
- Experience with various client-server models (REST, websockets, gRPC, events)
- Experience with CI\CD pipelines (GitLab, CircleCI, Terraform)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) and large scale production environments
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis)
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships, and influence with self-awareness, maturity, and integrity.
