The U.S. healthcare system is experiencing a staffing crisis. Employers spend $20 billion per year recruiting clinicians to care for the rapidly aging U.S. population. Nomad replaces antiquated staffing agencies with modern technology to efficiently source, qualify, and hire medical talent on demand. Clinicians find better jobs with higher pay. As a key early member of the Job Discovery team, you will influence the long-term evolution of our mobile applications, especially as it pertains to search and recommendations technology for the country’s first tech-driven healthcare staffing platform!
Responsibilities include:
● Work closely with a small, dynamic team to build product and platform features that will improve the performance and experience of Nomad
● Define and implement best practices for clean, extensible code
● Own the architecture, frameworks, and toolkits used to build and maintain our mobile applications
● Provide mentorship to fellow engineers
● Lead discussions and contribute to technical architecture decisions
Who Are You?
● 5+ years software engineering
● 5+ years Javascript / es6
● 3+ years React or React Native
● Thorough understanding/hands-on experience in the Native ecosystem
● Experience with Native API integration
● Proven ability in mobile building, packaging and dependency management systems such as CocoaPods
● Commercial or open source tools and services to monitor the behavior and operation of mobile apps
● Crash Analytics
● Demonstrated ability to take projects from concept to software design
● You are driven to bring new products and ideas to market quickly, a willingness to experiment and take risks, and a desire to work in a tight-knit, dynamic, collaborative environment
Bonus Qualification:
● Native mobile app development (iOS/Swift, Android/Java)
● Experience with Python, NoSQL databases
● Experience with GCP, CircleCI, Kubernetes ecosystems
