Staff Software Engineer
We are looking for a great React Native engineer with sound experience with the latest techniques, frameworks, and technologies. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, and a problem solver.
- Experience in Sencha OR Ext.JS + experience into PhoneGap or Cordova is highly preferred
- Experience in UWP app development is highly preferred
Principal Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work with Product Owner and Scrum Master to understand, develop and test user stories planned for the sprint/release.
- Work with Product Architects to understand and contribute to the design of the assigned user stories.
- Collaborate with quality engineers to ensure that full scope of user stories are tested.
- Provide effort and risk estimates to support planning.
- Communicate effectively and consistently with other engineers, customers and management.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 7+ years of Software development experience
- 4+ years experience in mobile application development
- Strong knowledge of React Native
- Proven experience is designing, building and maintaining Windows applications using Universal-Windows-Platform (UWP) will be a big plus
- Android (Java) and/or iOS experience
- Experience and knowledge of react-native-windows framework will be a big plus
- Knowledge and working experience of C# is desirable
- Ability to debug an app without disrupting users
- Must possess well developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with mobile application lifecycles
- Strong ability to learn new technologies in a short time
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
