Located in vibrant Midtown Sacramento and rated as one of Sacramento’s Best Places to Work, Rhombus Systems is looking for a Junior Mobile Engineer who will leverage their expertise by working on a variety of unique and challenging mobile development tasks including video decoding, Bluetooth, and encryption.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated person that will work on the mobile platform with React Native, TypeScript, Java and Objective-C. In this role, you will be the 2nd person on the mobile team, working under our senior mobile engineer on the Rhombus iOS, tvOS, and Android app.
What You'll Do:
- Build app features with TypeScript and React Native
- Write portions of the app in both Java and Objective-C when necessary
- Port code from Objective-C to Java and vice-versa
- Coordinate with backend developers and provide feedback on backend API
- Coordinate with designers and provide feedback on designs
What We're Looking For:
- Advanced knowledge of Java and/or Objective-C
- Some JavaScript knowledge
- Familiar with git
- Great communication skills
- TypeScript & React Native experience is a plus
This position is remote or based in Sacramento, CA. Compensation is dependent on experience.
