MySense is a wellbeing analytics platform which utilises a suite of IoT sensors to provide valuable insights into a person’s behaviour in order to improve quality of care and support.

The Tech
Our dashboard is a statically hosted React/Redux codebase (currently phasing out Redux in favour of react-query), which interacts with our AWS microservice backend. We use AWS Amplify for authentication and API calls and Victory Charts for visualising data. We have a React Native Android and iOS app and a suite of IoT devices which we use for gathering behavioural information. We share components and logic across the various projects using privately hosted NPM packages. We develop internal tools for system monitoring and provisioning of accounts and have plans to create new ones.
The Role
We require an experienced lead engineer to take ownership of all Frontend development and help build a strong team to deliver projects effectively, while fostering a culture of collaboration and learning within the team. You will work closely with designers, and the CIO to develop clean, responsive and intuitive user experiences. You will be responsible for developing and improving existing projects as well as pioneering and designing new ones. The existing team consists of 3 full-time Frontend engineers with several cross-functional Full stack engineers contributing heavily. We have a full-time designer who supports UI development and works closely with engineers to ensure we have a rich user experience.
