Senior Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who’d like to become part of a hands-on product engineering team that seeks challenge, engineering craftsmanship, quality, innovation and have a sense of urgency to increase the quality of mobile apps in the world.
In the Trace Team, you’ll be working in a dynamic, self-governing, and cross-functional team having an Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, a User Researcher, a Product Designer, and around 6 fellow engineers focusing on our application performance monitoring (APM) product. You’ll spend most of your time crafting UIs using React, and as a senior member of the team, your participation and your ideas would be very welcome in making Bitrise as a product an even better experience for our Customers.
Our Customers vary from small, startup-like teams to the largest enterprises of the World with large user-base applications, therefore our product area is quite complex and challenging - you would help us make mobile development as smooth as possible in our Customers’ day-to-day operations.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Bitrise you will
- Make and influence key architectural decisions
- Optimize, test, and continuously improve our product
- Implement new features in React
- Improve engineering developer efficiency
- Actively shape and contribute to Bitrise's Frontend Strategy
- Closely collaborate with our VP of UX Technologies
Key skills and characteristics
- Several years of experience building frontend applications
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with testing libraries (e2e, component, unit)
- You are highly experienced in at least one modern frontend framework (React/Angular/Vue)
- Sense for great UI/UX
- Collaborated across teams and you have the willingness to mentor others
- You are not afraid of challenging the status quo and bring new ideas to the table
- You are fluent in English (writing & speaking)
What would really knock our socks off
- We don't expect you to be a backend expert but would anticipate an experience with some, combined with a curiosity for others
- You have experience with frontend application performance profiling and optimization
- Created an open-source project and you are still an avid and active contributor
