THE ROLE
You will integrate one of the teams responsible for developing and maintaining multiple business to business applications built upon the Farfetch Platform. We support both our internal service providers and our partners using state of the art technologies such as React, Nest.js, Typescript and GraphQL.
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to work in a very friendly and relaxed environment and be part of a well-motivated, talented and growing team. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Evolve your technical capabilities to the next level while using state-of-the-art technologies (Node, NextJS, GraphQl, React);
- Create innovative b2b solutions on a global scale (BFF + Frontend)
- Be part of the Frontend community, where we all work together and help each other
- Collaborate directly with Design and Product teams to create meaningful and delightful experiences
- Contribute to our internal frameworks, used on all our b2b products
- Be a technical leader within the team you work with and of the Frontend community in general.
WHO YOU ARE
- A professional with large experience in front-end development, with frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.
- Proficient on the base front end development technologies including HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
- Proficient in some of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript or React.
- Concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, and ES6 are part of your vocabulary.
- Someone with a deep understanding of JS design patterns, data structures, and web architecture
- Someone that's willing to create solutions at scale and with a performance-driven mindset.
- A professional with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proactive, with a growth mindset and able to mentor your colleagues with best practices and guidelines.
- Proficient in written and spoken English
