Mobile Engineer

We are searching for an experienced Software Engineer to build React based mobile applications. BitGo processes a significant amount of cryptocurrency transactions so our applications need to be fast, accurate, scalable and secure. Our integrated platforms interact with a number of exchanges, agencies, and governments around the world, and we use the best technology the industry offers to build them.

Responsibilities:

• Build out amazing React based mobile applications for iOS and Android devices

• Work with product, design and BitGo leadership to deliver new top-notch customer experiences

• Partnering with cross functional teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure

• Ensuring the code written is scalable, reusable and works well across multiple applications inside our repository

Required

• 2+ years of professional experience in a Software Engineering role

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax and the TypeScript superset

• Excellent knowledge of React Native and/or React.js

• Excellent knowledge of modern state management libraries (Flux pattern)

• Experience both with REST and WebSocket based web services

• Experience building framework and platform agnostic packages

• Experience working on either large complex enterprise level systems or proven ability to build a greenfield product from start to finish

• Willingness to take extreme ownership over your work

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

• Focus on high quality mobile UI experiences

Preferred

• Experience with Swift and/or Kotlin programming languages

• Experience developing Mobile Apps

• Knowledge of and passion for cryptocurrency
