Senior Full-Stack Engineer

DAY-TO-DAY:

• You will produce work in collaboration with designers and developers.
• You will be responsible for optimizing both desktop and mobile browser experiences and are able to quickly change your design paradigm to address unusual user challenges.
• Make strategic technical decisions related to new products and functionalities.
• Be able to translate designs into code with flare.
• You will work in Agile software development environment so extensive knowledge of Agile will be critical.
• We expect you to take smart risks and champion new ideas.

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• 5+ years of professional back-end development using modern web development technologies and techniques with languages and platforms like C#, NodeJS, or Python
• Experience with a cloud platform like AWS or Azure
• Strong experience with software architecture, design patterns, building microservices.
• Expert in reverse-engineering and consuming third-party APIs/services
• Prior experience with:
• Serverless application development
• Javascript (NodeJS, Typescript, React), HTML, CSS
• Amazon AWS (Cloud Formation, S3, Lambda, RDS)
• Databases (Postgres), GraphQL, SQL/MySQL and JSON-based formats
• Git, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or equivalent)
• Gatsby (publishing) and DirectUs (content management) systems or equivalent
• JIRA or equivalent project management tools

• Experience with React and React state management tools like Redux, Recoil, or MobX
• Experience with UI frameworks and tools like Tailwind, Material UI, or SASS
• Have a strong understanding of Node.js for both front-end and back-end use
• Passion for learning new technologies and desire to grow your skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline or relevant experience
