Front End Web Application Developer

We are looking for an exceptional programmer with a keen eye for design for the position of Front End Developer. Front-end Developers are responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages.
You will have the chance to work in a dynamic team–all recognized system development experts–alongside a Team Leader, backend and DB developer, and a UI/UX designer to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a new project with a local development team.

Primary Responsibilities
● Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
● Developing features to enhance the user experience.
● Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
● Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
● Building reusable code for future use.
● Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
● Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
● Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
Determining the structure and design of web pages.
Skills
o Degree in Computer Science or related field.
o Understanding of key design principles.
o Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS and React.
o Understanding of server-side CSS.
o Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator.
o Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
o Understanding of SEO principles.
o Good problem-solving skills.
o Ability to communicate highly technical, actionable information and where relevant, develop reports to audiences ranging from technically astute peers to non-technical business managers and leaders (including C-Suite level persons).
o Maintains social, ethical, professional and organizational standards and values, always honors commitments.
o Conversational level English, both spoken and written is a plus, but not required.
Qualifications/Requirements
o At least three to five (3-5) years of experience in Front End Web Application development
o Excellent commercial experience with NodeJS, React, Cloud hosting and SQL
o Experience working within an Agile / Scrum environment
o Experience developing highly secure web applications
