Junior Frontend Software Engineer

Algolia is looking for a junior front-end software engineer to join the Web Chapter, working on the customer-facing Algolia Dashboard, whose mission is to empower technical and business users to create, configure and maintain the perfect search experience for their users from a frictionless web dashboard. Some projects we’ve released recently include a completely redesigned version of the signup process, a granular email notification unsubscription feature or a visual editor for building search rules.

In your day to day, you will:
- Work closely with your squad members (product manager, product designer, software engineers) to fix bugs or build new features & products with an amazing user experience
- Collaborate with other software engineers in the chapter to contribute to the team's own developer experience – for instance by working on the Design System or E2E testing environment
You might be a fit if you have:
- Already contributed to a front-end/JS application, whether at work or as a side project
- Interest in modern frontend development (e.g. React, Vue, Typescript, Tailwind)
- Interest in UX and desire to build great products
- Rigor in high code quality and other engineering best practices
- Excellent spoken and written English skills required
