Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a rapidly growing team of frontend engineers across a variety of Anti-Evil projects 
  • Build a world-class user experience
  • We need a strong FE engineer who can help grow the technical skills of all the FE engineers on our team and establish a strong engineering and UX-focused culture within the org
  • Engineer efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications
  • Tackle tough design and product problems
  • Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering managers to plan product and business strategy, and build novel products and features that our half-billion users will love
  • Provide technical leadership in domain areas

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience building clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Expertise in JavaScript or TypeScript. (React, Redux, and WebComponents a plus)
  • Familiarity with python or other server scripting languages is a plus
  • Passion for developing scalable, well-designed software that improves people’s lives globally
  • Great engineering skills
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively under schedule pressure to fix defects, review code, design, write, test new code, and diagnose production issues
