Senior Front End Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Front End Software Engineer who can make an immediate impact building complex UIs that empower organizations to make intelligent decisions. You will work within an agile team of developers, product managers and product designers to deliver new features, services, and improvements to our product. We are looking for experienced and passionate engineers who want to make a difference while working in a startup environment that prioritizes our team and user community over unsustainable growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Help develop and define architectural standards and guidelines
• Develop new user-facing features and services
• Build clean, reusable components with React.js
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Refactor application code for performance and scalability
• Implement styles using CSS

About You:

• Demonstrated mastery of building complex features with React
• Demonstrated experience integrating with APIs
• Advanced knowledge of React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of Git, Gitflow and command line tools
• Proficient understanding of principles of front-end testing (unit, integration)
• Comfortable writing own APIs in Node.js and querying databases
